Posted by Cricket Store Online on 27th Aug 2022
Amar from CricMax reviews the GM Player’s Edition Ross Taylor cricket batch launched in 2022 lineup. Ross Taylor is a New Zealand cricketer who is known for his consistent and long-form batting. Amar explains that all of Ross Taylor’s Original bats have a 67mm spine height and 37 mm thickness which is the highest allowed height for the bat’s spine in international cricket.
Amar opens the first GM Ross Taylor bat and praises the bat cover. Tha bat cover has padding all around and has adjustable straps and feels premium just like the bat itself. These bats come in chroma color design and have traditional profile with an extremely clean English willow.
Bat Handle and Pickup
The bat is made of top quality treble spring multi-piece cane wood which provides immense shock resistance. The bat has a pro-light grip on the handle. Amar then explains that the bat has a semi-over handle which is thick from the bottom and becomes thinner as you move your hand up the handle.
Design and Quality
He praises the overall look of the bat. The bat is made up of Grade 1+ premium English willow. It has thick blades which increase the hitting ability and assist in controlled stroke play. The bat has thick shoulders and straight pressing. The ping of the bat sounds solid. Aamar then shows the grains on the bat which is 8 in numerals and is above average. Aamar explains that the ball leaves no mark on the bat when pinged because the bats are semi-knocked as well.
Pro Profile specs:
The bat has a swell of 67 mm which is suitable for the players looking for maximum power in their shots.
Amar unboxes 3 bats in the video. All of them are quite similar to each other if we consider the dimensions, willows and grains. However, their weights vary from 1175 grams to 1218 grams depending on the extra grip, toe guard and other add ons that the customer wants.
