Cricketers Who Suffered with Alzheimers Part 1

As you know, Cricket Store Online is staunchly committed to fighting Alzheimer's disease. Cricket Store Online does through their #batforalzheimers campaign, by selling cricket bats with 100% of the proceeds going to Alzheimer's treatment research and other such campaigns. There have been cricketers that suffered from Alzheimers. Cricket Store Online seeks to shed a light of awareness on this disease by profiling some international cricketers that have suffered with Alzheimer's.
One of those was Ramesh "Buck" Divecha. Divecha featured in India's first ever Test win against England and was known to be a very accurate medium pace bowler. He featured in five test matches for India and took 11 wickets.
Divecha spent a considerable part of his life living in Oxford, England where he was a student. He played cricket there too and even featured against an Australian touring side. As with many other sportsmen, Divecha was blessed in other sporting disciplines and following his early retirement he became a keen golfer and he was very good at it.
On the 19th of February 2003 at the age of 76, Divecha succumbed to his prolonged illness of Alzheimer's. He died in his home city of Mumbai.
