Adil's Final Tour Diary.

The Adil Scoop

When you train with the pro's you realize that they prepare themselves for any eventuality. It was time for a practice match under lights with a small crowd that was truly thrilling. I was on Dwayne Smith's team and had the opportunity to come in and face 3 balls. If you didn't know yet my favorite shop is the Dil-Scoop or the Adil-Scoop more like it and I was happy to pull it out of the drawer for one of my three balls. It came off well and the ball went to the boundary for four.

One of the more arduous training sessions was the long running catches and target hitting. I have learned a lot from my time here at the Tridents and I hope it will stand me in good stead moving forward. It has been a really great experience rubbing shoulders with some of the greats of the modern game. They are larger than life characters but many of them have very humble spirits.

Myself and Japen will shortly be off to Ireland and Scotland where we hope to help the USA qualify for the World T20 to be hosted in 2016 by India.
Check out the photo of me taking the field, it was a very nice moment in my career.

Till next time,

Adil
