SG Sunny Gold Classic Cricket Bat

Amar reviews nine bats from SG that are all similar in specifications. These are the highlights of his review.

Profile

SG Sunny Gold Classic is a complete profile Cricket bat with a large sweet spot that lies in the mid to low of the bat. This allows players to play amazing lofted shots that can cover the boundary instantly. Amar weighs the bat, and it is around 1128g but feels much lighter because of superb aerodynamics and weight distribution. The edges are 38mm-40mm thick, which increases the strength of the shot. The toe is about 20-25 mm wide without any toe guard. If you want, you can add the toe guard while doing a custom order at the cricket store online. When it comes to the spine, it has a full 63mm spine height with scalloping on both sides to reduce weight.

Design And Quality

These bats have the Golden SG sticker on both the front and the back. All these bats have clear faces and are made from the willow reserved for Original player bats. They have the world's finest Grade-1 English willow with an excellent grain count of 10 to 12, giving them a distinctive look. The ping is highly consistent with red and pink balls, making the hitting experience even better. Amar even shows it in the video review below. The traditional round cane handle is made from the highest quality of Singapore cane with a cork inserted in between splits for enhanced flexibility and incredible bat control.

.

He unboxes 9 bats in total. All of them are the same but have minor differences in their weight because of a slight difference in edge thickness (36mm - 40mm). They have 10 to 20 grains in them. The difference in the number of grains is due to the wood used from other clefts of Grade-1 English willow. Apart from these minor differences, they are all almost similar.
