Unbelievable bat. It doesn't look like much. In this day of 40mm plus edged bats the Gladiator looks innocuous with it's edges barely making the 35mm mark. The pick up is not the best I have felt either. The Black Cat Shadow, Gray Nic powerbow and GM Icon all have much better balance. But the power that this thing generates is without peer. I have an MMi3 Super Premium. I have a Joker. I have 15 premium bats all purchased in the last year and a bit. The SS Gladiator is far and away the most powerful of all of the bats that I own. The Joker was a revelation. More power than you know what to do with. But the SS leaves it for dead. It has a long sweetspot that extends low into the bat. When you crack a drive it sounds like a gun going off and the ball screams off the bat face. I have a Black Cat Shadow and Laver and Wood Ultra which both arrived at the same time as the Gladiator. They are not even getting used. They have each had 2 net sessions. I play 5 times a week and the only bat getting a look-in is the Gladiator. Nothing else comes close.
