this bat i would say would be the best weapon for a starter at league/ club level - it is a english willow a bit blemish but a very nice grade 2 english willow and has 8-12 grains which is amazing and has a very good pick up and the SG grip is amazing; something different which is not included with every SG bat and has a very good bat cover that comes along but it is worth the price and a very good cricket bat, also has a fitted toeguard
