I wanted to write short review on the Affinity Carbine bat but I'm lost for words. This is one of the best bat that I've ever played with. Absolutely the best!!!
In the past, I've used the Kookaburra, hammer fyree and berserker ST Core. But, this bat beats others hands-down. Especially for a player like me who prefers to play along the ground and straight-bat at most times; the weight balance and feel of the Carbine is AMAZING!!! It's definitely for someone who is predominantly a front-foot player.
Thanks once again for your help in recommending the best bat that would meet my needs. I've already recommended this bat to most of my friends. True believer in Affinity Bats.
Affinity Carbine cricket bat 2014
BE DYNAMIC, BE PROGRESSIVE AND SHOW YOUR CLASS.
A true batsman needs the right tool to express himself. The Carbine's lack of concaving allows us to pack maximum willow mass in the mid-to-high hitting zone. Performance is not compromised by the size of the edge, as we strive to create the ultimate bat for the true 'player'. If you value the size of your edge more highly than the runs that you score then this is not the bat for you. If, however, you seek big scores and the confidence to play dynamic, progressive cricket …
The Carbine is your weapon of choice.
Please note our weight ranges are based on light, medium and heavy for each cricket bat.
Carbine LIGHT: 2:8/2:9 MEDIUM 2:10/2:11 HEAVY 2:12/2:13
