Pakistan Trounce Australia

Well, well, well. How the mighty have fallen! Australia were outplayed in every department by Pakistan during the most recent Test series. For moments in the 2nd Test Match, it seemed as if Pakistan was merely making a mockery of the bowlers that Australia had on offer.

Misbah Ul-Haq played an Inzamam Ul-Haq or a more like Shahid Afridi type of innings as he blasted a record quickest century off a mere 57 balls. This was totally out of character for a usually quite cautious Misbah who went about carting the Australian bowling attack to all parts of the ground.

Misbah using his huge player grade Ihsan cricket bat was in a mode of his own. This was after Younis Khan had an awesomely prolific series. Younis becoming the Pakistani test batsman with the most centuries.

The Australian batting did not fair much better as their combine totals over both innings did not equal the first innings total posted by Pakistan.

There was a century stand posted between Steve Smith and Mitchell Marsh. Steve Smith having recently moved from using Slazenger cricket gear to using New Balance cricket gear like David Miller and Dale Steyn, is starting to look more and more like a quality test batsman but not so much a test bowler.

However, this series will go down as one of Pakistan's finest cricketing sequence of days.
