The Gray Nicolls Oblivion Cricket Bat is brand new for 2011 with Gray Nicolls using its heritage and knowledge of bat making to introduce the Oblivion. With mirrored cosmetics and distinctively large lower middle profile, the Oblivion creates the perfect blend of tradition and innovation. Ideally suited to front foot play all around the ground.The Oblivion features a maximum edge height to enhance its powerful profile giving you performance thatll inspire confidence at the crease with shots that fly off the face of the bat. The added benefit of the maximum edge height is enhanced pick up allowing you to time your shots with ease.Also features a low blade profile with low bow and a handle with a 12 piece cane construction in a semi oval design for comfort at the crease.Made from Grade Three English Willow, with a traditional cane handle, the strike is a pre-prepared blade and has been oiled and fitted with Extratec and Protec protection to improve rebound performance.

I loved the bat, in the 1st look it self, 9 real grains man u can never get at this price, I got the bat with it bat face anti snuff, but I wanted to the see actual grains, as this bat comes with cover layer with wood grain finish on it, I had to remove it, I was surprised to see 9 st-grains on it and no wood marks also, nice thick edge and lite wt, bat needs one time oil and 3hrs knocking, its ready to go,, I love its ping, My bat is ready for net, I will be testing it v soon

I really like the feel of the bat, though I was apprehensive buying it online. Jason is awesome, I won't spoil for him as he gave me a really good deal on the bat. I had my first nets with it and it is getting there may in a week or two. I am happy with the purchase and service provided by Jason.

for the price and description of this bat, i'd say this is one of the best if not the best bat I have ever used.after full knock in it is the top power of bat reaching way above my old kookaburra ice sub -30.on the website it says that it is grade a Kashmir willow, but since i've checked the middle on to see any dents on the side I would say they have made a mistake and it is grade 1 or 2 English willow.
